Hi,
I've recently downloaded inkscape to create a social icon dingbat font. But, for some reason, when the image has a white space breaking the black space, it doesn't recognize the glyph.
I've vectorize and saved the documents as svg through illustrator. I'm able to make the glyph from some of them. Example, from facebook social icon or twitter, it is used only one hole image, those work. But, when i try the Fr from Flickr or the reddit robot, doesn't work. It doesn't show the character in the program when i press get curves selection.
I'm doing something wrong?
Also, another problem I'm having is with one of the icons, when i try to impor the icon to inkscape, is doesn't appear in the program. It is saved as an svg as all of other icons.
I'm sorry if this topic was posted before, i did a search trough the forum and even looked at multiple tutorials, but none of them answered this problem. Also, i have tried, re-saving the documents and re-starting the pc/program.
I will gladly appreciate an answer.
Thanks,
Debbi

Welcome Debbi!
I'm sorry no one has answered your quesions. I'm not sure what a "social icon dingbat font" is. And I'm also not very familiar with Inkscape's fairly new Glyph tool. So that's why I didn't answer. But maybe you could say more about the black space touching the white space -- perhaps a screenshot? And maybe since your and my replies will bump the topic, someone who knows the answer can answer it
