[solved] Pattern along path and gradients

Postby nico80 » Wed Apr 09, 2008 2:38 pm

I have a circle shape and I want to duplicate it along a path. The "pattern along path" tool works perfectly in doing this, but the problem is that the circle is shaded with a radial gradient and I would like each duplicate on the path to have the same shading effect (which does not happen). Is it possible to do this with the pattern along path or any other tool?

thanks
nico

I think the only way is to break apart the circles and re-apply the gradient fill individually.

Thank you, it was a bit of a long job (I had like 200 copies of the object) but it worked. :)
