Hi all.

In certain circumstances, the newest version of Inkscape (downloaded from here), currently version r10817.

The bug is described in this error-report.

This error only to occur on W7 computers that is part of a domain and language is norwegian.

My question: Is this an error that also occur in windows computers in other environoments than the one I described in the link above?

Hi all.

I've downloaded version r11041 today at work, just to discover that the bug still persists.

I kindly ask those of you that posess a computer that is a part of a domain (this would typically being school or office) to test the newest Inkscape version found on the link provided in my last post. If you cannot install any program at that computer, you can always extract the contents of the 7z file directly to a usb memory stick. There will be a directory with "Inkscape.exe" that runs just fine without being installed on the computer.

I want you to do the following:

• Download latest version of Inkscape. You can use 7-zip to extract the packed files to a memory stick (or any directory on the computer).
• If possible - make a link to Inkscape.exe on your desktop.
• Run Inkscape, and follow the steps to reproduce in the bug report.
• Respond to this thread if bug occured. Or even better - create an acount on Launchpad (or log into if you already hav an acount there), mark for "this bug affects me", and respond there.

Right now I feel that I have done absolute every thing that I can to possible make it easier for developers to fix this bug. So throwing out souch a request in this forum is so to say a last resort.
I would be very thankful if any one respond and provide any information about this bug.

Inkscape is just too good to let contain such a bug that pretty much cripples the program. It would be such a waste if a "stable" version is released and this bug is still there.
