I have the following file:

Even though everything looks fine in inkscape the file does not compile by pdfLaTeX.
pdfLaTeX always reports:

! Missing $ inserted.
<inserted text>
$

I know that this comes from missing math-environment but I even cleared all lines in the .pdf_tex file and still pdfLaTeX doesn't compile.

Maybe there is a bigger mistake in the file I don't see???

Since your message got approved, you seem to deleted the file before so we cannot check it.

I am sorry. I resolved the issue myself. The problem had nothing to do with inkscape or the image itself.
It was just a white space in the folder name which could not be handled by pdfLaTeX.
