Embroidery Effect

Hello,

I am working on a design that requires an embroidery effect. I'm creating a back patch for a vest and it has to look embroidered. I have searched the forum but all I am able to find are issues dealing with how to convert or export to an embroidery file.

Are there any tutorials, extensions or anything that can help achieve this effect?
