Patterns to background, problems with line between

Postby Gotcher » Sun May 22, 2011 6:00 am

Hi,
sorry for my bad english.
So, i have just one trouble with this great program, I did search it with google, but i don`t found it. If I want to use pattern to draw for example background, there is a line (about 0,5 px) on edges of pattern.
I show you it at this picture.

You can see, it is visible at exported .png too.

How can I fix it?

Welcome Gotcher!

This is a known issue. Until it is fixed, you can use the filter downloadable from this message: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9034&p=33279&hilit=stitch#p32882 (Called Stitch Together). Or another option would be to overlap the tiles slightly.

Also, if you put it in the 'node' mode, a handle pops up which you can use to increase or decrease the size, move it around just a bit, sometimes that solves the issue, not always though. I've found that if I make my rectangle the same size before creating the pattern, then it fits in better. It's not perfect, nor the perfect work around, but sometimes it works well. I can't wait for this bug to be fixed either!
welcome to the forum!
