I have a linked image with some vector objects over it. The whole thing I larger then 8.5 X 11. I need to save as a raster. I know to use the export bit map. The trouble however is getting the size. Is there a way to create a custom size image or to export/copy it to another program where I can save it?

You may select that linked image before exporting and than from Export area tabs select "Selection", or create an rectangle which would cover wanted portion, adjust it (color, position, dimensions...), keep it selected and go again for "Selection" in export panel.
