Illustrator to Inkscape question

Postby biggphill » Tue Aug 24, 2010 3:48 am

Hello everyone,

Try as I might I can't seem to figure this one out.

While using the pen tool in illustrator I was able to double-click the last node of a curve and disable to second tangent line (or control lever). This allowed a tangent before the node but a 'fresh start' after. How do I duplicate this in Inkscape? I have learned about holding shift, but this appears to affect the curve/tangent AFTER the node......I need to click-drag and then disable the next tangent line without a funky loop or bump.

Thanks for your help! :D

Shift-L, and just keep drawing. no double click necessary or going back to the node. (shift -u is supposed to go the other way but I can't get it to work on my 048 build... with a tablet ... but it might work for you)
Your mind is what you think it is.
