Happy New Year!

It was a tough year, in my part of the world, and in the rest of the world too. So here's hoping that we may be guided by healing minds and inspired hearts, to learn from our mistakes, and make the world a better place next year!

yes, it was a tough year, and bad personally for so many people I know (including myself). I hope it doesn't have to start for Americans by going off the stupid fiscal cliff too! I'd love to fire congress and start off, can we push them off the cliff too, lol

brynn, I look forward to seeing (finally) your own home grown smileys at some point, right behind you making an Inkscape website! good luck with both of those, and thank you for all of your hard work on this site as a moderator. I don't think people know how much work and time that involves, and you've done a great job.
Also a big thanks to the moderators, developers, regular contributors, artists, and all of you math whizzes that answer my math-ignorant questions! You guys are a blessing to Inkscape users!
