Problems Creating Perspective

Postby zverolen » Wed Dec 19, 2012 12:53 am

Hi,
i tried to create the perspective effect for the first time learning from tutorials and ran into the following problem: the perspective effect doesn't occur after being processed - 'Perspective' working, please wait...'

1. The first object created and turned into path (rectangular or any other)
2. The perspective shape created from the Bezier (starting from the botom left corner)
3. The Bezier selected->the 'first object' selected (so, the both are selected now)
4. Extensions->Modify Path->Perspective
5. Nothing Changed

No errors reported.

I'm using Inkscape 0.48 on Ubuntu 12.04.1

Thanks

Hi

Try to "unselect" both - just left click on an empty spot on the canvas.
Select the first object first - then the perspective square.
See explanation here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=13201#p50267

Good Luck
