No Optimized SVG Option

Postby JDE657 » Mon Nov 12, 2018 2:27 am

First post on the forum!
Does anyone know why I do not have an "optimized SVG" as a save as option. I only have plain & compressed?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

John

Have you checked the whole list? For me the Optimized option is inexplicably placed right near the bottom, well away from the other SVG options.

Otherwise can you let us know your OS and Inkscape version - and where you got your copy of Inkscape from. If it's genuinely not there then it might be that your copy was compiled without that option, or that there's a file missing from the installation.

I'd guess that Python extensions don't work for you, either?

If so, uninstall Inkscape, remove all files in the installation directory, and reinstall it *with* Python.

Or possibly you have an older version of Inkscape, which didn't have that option. Although the fact you're expecting it probably means you've seen it before, and don't have an older version.

Indeed, it's near the end of my menu as well!
