Postby raddi » Sun Aug 09, 2009 9:06 am

i use inkscape to create flyers for my company....upto now i have printed straight from the default size of "a4"

however i need to design and print some "a5" flyers.....
how do i do this?, when i press the "new" button there is no a5/a6 size.

Thanks,

Go to File > Document Properties (or Ctrl + Shift + D) and you can change it from there. There might be an A5 option under page size but if not, and you know you size in px/cm/mm you can write it in manually.

Are you printing directly to an A5 sheet? or are you planning to print to A4 and run the print 2 down and cut to A5?

Only asking because that would make a difference the first way you need to change your prefs like the guy said above :) the second way you need to change your design.

Oddly, although you can't create a "New" A5 document, but you can set page size A5 in Document properties:

Start New Document of Any Size.
Click "Document Properties" Button (rightmost of top icon row)
Select A5.
