hello,

for some days now, I try to use the generator extension with inkscape on windows xp - without success.
this means, that every time I want to invoce the extension (via the effects-menue - in german language: "Effekte -> Sonstiges -> Generator") inkscape crashes immediately.

maybe the reason could be the file generator.sh in the extensions-folder of inkscape:
is it possible to have a .sh-file in windows?
if "yes" - what must I do then, to let it run under windows-inkscape?

please give me some hints!

p.s.: i have redhat-cygwin on my machine, but I can't imagine, how to use this with the windows-version of inkscape (and in cygwin I cant't find the linux-inkscape[!?])...
