Inkscape is saving my butt ...

Postby Beth61 » Sat Nov 18, 2017 11:34 pm

I am so overjoyed. I ran into some issues with my Adobe CC account a few days ago. And as some of you know, dealing with Adobe's so-called 'Customer Service' isn't exactly a joy ride.

Anyway my account was cancelled, as I was just about to undertake a design project for someone. I freaked out because I assumed I couldn't use Inkscape (I'm still quite a new user). However I gave it a try, my teammate sent me a bunch of files, some of which were .pdf. I was able to open one and now I can design the flyer they need. YES!!!!!

Just wanted to share my joy. I am loving Inkscape.

Hi Beth, I shared your feedback with the Inkscape developers on the Inkscape developer mailing list (https://sourceforge.net/p/inkscape/mail ... ape-devel/ - they don't usually visit here, but I think they'll like to read it!).

Thanks for sharing my feedback with them! I'm truly impressed with this program, still a bit intimidated by some stuff, but as I gain experience through trial and error my confidence is building. I just feel that it's easier to use than Illustrator, less steps involved to do basic things like bending a bezier line right away. More independence. Love it.
