Destructive "copy - paste"

Postby yoelf22 » Tue Sep 02, 2014 10:00 pm

Hello.

When I copy a vector object (a path, text, shape, etc) and paste it into a new inkscape window, all editable attributes are lost.
What is actually pasted is a raster image.

Any ideas?

Mystery solved?
X11 preferences >> pasteboard >> Enable Synching [+]

When enabled only raster is clipped to be pasted anywhere in the OSX environment.
When disabled, objects' attributes are copied.

Is this an issue to tackle with X11? Whom with?
