Hello people!
I discover a very annoying disfunction on Inkscape and I really can't complete my project without
solving it.
So, I have a big black rentagle for instance. Now with the bezier tool I draw a curved red line on
on top of that because I want to make a 'hole' with the shape of the red line. Unfortunately
Inkscape can't do that and instead takes out the line and the area between the two edges of the
line. Do you know what I mean ? Is there a way to leave just the shape of the line?
Cut out JUST the curved line!

Do a convert stroke to path, Cntl Alt C then do the path operation. convert is under the path menu also. The red path is a on open path. Inkscape close paths before it does most path operation.
