Converting an SVG to 1-bit greyscale (pure black and white)

As the title says, how would I convert an SVG to pure black and white? The Extensions -> Color -> Black and White still leaves some grey, which I don't want.

Welcome to InkscapeForum!

It appears that if there is a gradient in the original image, the gradients are converted to sort of a grayscale gradient. It might do the same thing to a blurred object, let's see... Ok no, in the case of a blurred object, it's just turned black (or white) and stays blurred. It's not "gradientized" (lol).

If you have gradients in the original, you can remove the gradient, to eliminate gray in the result. If there's not a gradient in the orignal, we might need to look at the SVG file, to figure out what type of objects are getting a gray color.

Let us know if that works :D
