Clean Up Document ?

Clean Up Document ?

What does the new “Clean up Document” command do ?
Is it like the old one for when editing in xml editor ?

Using version 0.91, iMac Yosemite

I searched the forum here, and no success in the manual either.
Just a few vague refs. but no explanations.

Same as "Vacuum Defs"... unused definitions are deleted.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
