Hello all,

Been working on an image for some time now and have reached a part I normally dread, with any medium.
The hair.

Any advice on working with hair is highly appreciated.

Also...any tips on adding sparkle-type sheen effects?
As of this version of the image I used a sparkle shape I made and the spray tool which did okay (not counting some odd, maybe buggy behavior).

I can't give you any advice personally, but I have seen some tutorials around for drawing hair. In particular, I remember several photorealistic works of portraits in Finished Works forum. You might get some hints by looking at those images. I do recall one of them referenced a tutorial, but it would take some time searching for it. I would suggest searching using "photorealistic", and if you haven't found the link to the tutorial, try searching "hair". I'm speaking of searching the forums, rather than the internet.
