hi everyone, i am new to inkscape, i use inkscape for my home build cnc router. I imported a dxf file into inkscape it's a black and white pen drawng, somehow i can't seem to use the eraser on this drawing. Can somebody perhaps tell me what i could be doing wrong.

Are you sure all objects are paths?
Cannot really tell what's causing that behave, if you can provide the problematic part as a dxf here, we can look at it.
