Hi I have window 8 and its a x86 not a 32 I thought I would mention that since I got a error prompt during install, but it did install. However, spell check does not work and every time I try to use the spell check , inkscape crashes. Can anyone help me. I need spell check to work its very important that it works. Thank you Lisa

I'm not sure what you mean by "it's x86 not 32". Is it a laptop? Do you remember the error message? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? If the problem isn't related to installation, it's fairly common for a large file size to cause a crash, if it challenges your system's RAM. How large is the file?
