Controlling Stroke and Fill Grads with Node tool?

Postby InkCat » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:26 am

I am working on objects which have both stroke AND fill gradients. I like using the node tool to adjust them, but I don't know how to make Inkscape show me the nodes for the stroke or fill gradient I'm working on....I seem to always see the opposite of the one I'm working on.

Is there a way to make this happen? For example, I have a circle with both stroke and fill grads. The fill grad has only 2 stops; the stroke grad has maybe a dozen, but as I want to work on the 2-stop fill gradient with node tool, I see the many nodes of the stroke's gradient!

thanks for any clues!

Are you trying to say that the gradient paths are joined together? Hold Shift and drag them away to separate them, you can still make them parallel so everything looks like before.
