Blur around selected area

Postby painter2 » Tue Dec 03, 2013 12:22 pm

Hi, all,

I'm trying to focus attention into a certain area of my design, and I think blurring what's around the area-of-interest would be a pretty good way to do this. Is there an option that allows you to do this?

Thanks,

Hi!

You can do that by duplicating the design, and use a clipping mask that has a hole cut at the area-of interest on it,
then blur that object above the original one.

You may extend parts of the duplicant because the outer edge's blurring will leave the original object's edges unblurred, same as the area of the interest's edges.
