Text is streaking when I move it, how can I make this not happen

Text is streaking when I move it, how can I make this not happen

It seems like when I move this text around it is creating streak lines like this..

Has anyone else experienced this? How can I get it to stop doing this.

What's your Inkscape version? (Help > About)
What's your operating system?
Can you share a file that has the issue for you?
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

The streaking bits aren't really there. I mean they aren't objects on the page. It's a malfunction in the display. I've found that I can often get rid of the streaks by scrolling away, and then back. Or sometimes minimizine the window and bring it back up.

Or possibly it could be related to a resource issue. I seem to see that more often when my files are getting larger. Are you seeing any freezing or lagging or slowness when you use Inkscape?

Thank you brynn, scrolling away and then back up did make them go away!

As far as lagging or slowness, not really. So far this has been the only issue.

You might want to post your OS and Inkscape version as Moini asked. the problem, if not in your hardware, might go away completely with an update.

I see the problem myself, as recently as 0.92.3. But further troubleshooting still holds potential, as druban says :)
