Preparing for Krita Post-Processing - A Question

Postby Reptorian » Sat Jul 29, 2017 4:21 pm

Due to my latest finding, I know how to get a proper CMYK PDF file with Inkscape with the help of GIMP, Krita 4.0 and legacy Krita. But, one of my prerequisites in Inkscape is that there must be one object per layer. This is because of the .tar export within Inkscape making it possible to work with Krita, and GIMP. Here's a little tutorial I made - https://www.reddit.com/r/Inkscape/comme ... ized_cmyk/

Problem is that this'll still be rasterized, but there's nothing one can do about that.

How do you export as PDF from Krita?

It was removed in later version because it wasn't working. But you got the option of exporting CMYK TIFF, and then exporting using Krita 2.9. Krita 2.9 has the option to export to PDF.

I think it´s just implemented in the Linux Version from what I read in its WIKI. Neither PDF import- nor export functionality in macOS. Same for printing: simply not available.
