Just looking for some feedback on this header image I made for a blog.

Hi llogg,
Long time no see!

It looks like behind the black letters are the same letters in white, and slightly offset, something like a shadow. Since the whole header's background is transparent, here in the forum it's on a blue background, and the white shadow has the effect of making the black letters stand out, almost giving them a stark effect. I really like that, because it adds to the feeling of "afraid" or fear. But at ImageShack it's on a white background, and that is mostly lost. So I would suggest making a solid or opaque background.....unless you already know that the blog host site has some default non-white background.

Other than that, I'm intrigued and wouldn't mind have a look at the blog! Because afraid to fail, I am not, lol.

it looks good llog,
On my computer even on the white background it looks good. The text in the background is very subtle on the white background, but for a header Image I think that's a plus.
I like it.

It has been a while. Did you make up your mind about the blog header? Can you provide a link to it? I'm really curious about web graphics made with Inkscape. :D

I used this for a bit but have changed it a few times since then. Again, click through to see the whole thing.

nice work.
for header texts it usually benefits from manual kerning. The letter A in afraid visually seems to stand apart from "fraid" because "f" and "r" look too close. that's the only thing that draws my eyes, apart from a nice design.
