I am using a Dell pc with Vista 64bit SP1 and cannot print any documents on Inkscape. It goes to the printer(HP Photosmart C6380), appears to be ready to print but nothing prints! The printer works fine on other apps.
Thanks for any direction.

Re: Cannot print
I have the same problem. I have never been able to print directly from Inkscape. To get around this, I create a PDF then print that. It works but is an annoying step. What is the issue with printing directly from the program? Is there a fix? I've even tried reinstalling. Other than this, I really like the program.
Re: Cannot print
Hi All,
Had exactly the same problem, with the same printer, creating months of frustration (I use inkscape to create documents to strict proportions and that starts going to hell as soon as you start going to intermediary formats like PDF/PNG), until this very minute I configured my printer to print directly, rather than spooling ("Control Panel -> Devices and Printers -> Printer Properties. -> Advanced" under Win7). As the printer is set up as wireless, this may be a bit of a hack - or maybe not.
Don't know if this helps with coming up with a proper fix (can someone pass this on to someone who might need to know?), but it might get you printing.
