can you upload your file? the explanation without the file is hard to imagine what's going wrong for you.

i dont have a file yet im making the #53 and i want the 53 to be chrome and have a black outline all the way around it

so i cut out the 53 in black and then cut out 53 in chrome just 2 sizes smaller and out chrome on top of black but that didnt work cause they are 2 different sizes

what im looking for is a 1" border all the way around the numbers

how do i get that border ?

Im guessing you just size the decals with normal resizing? what you need to do is reduce the chrome one by using the Inset function ( "Ctrl+(" )

The best way to do this, IMOBIESH, is to duplicate twice, give it a stroke twice as wide as you want and then cut with the second copy. Confused? Here's a graphic explanation! forgot to attach it ! Here it is!
