I am new to this and trying to get away from windows and expensive cutter software. I installed ubuntu 10.04 and inkcut 1.0. now I am trying to get it to work with my plotter via a serial cable. it is a lynx cutter from sign warehouse. I have selected all the option in inkcut for serial and click the test connection button and nothing happens. what steps do i \need to take to get help configuring this to work??
thanks
MArk

Hi Mark,
I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but wanted to say: Welcome to InkscapeForum!

I'm sure someone else will be along to help soon (although weekends can sometimes be a bit slow), so hang in there
