Copying problem

Postby rockford0217 » Sun Mar 20, 2011 6:01 am

Hi, I appreciate help on this subject, I am new user, I created a logo with Transitioning colors and when I move the logo or copy it into another file, the colors changes totally as I move the entire object. Is there anyway to lock the colors and transition so when I copy or move my object; colors do not change it?

Thanks Very much for any suggestions.

Hi rockford0217,
Welcome to the forum!

When you say "transitioning colors" you mean a gradient, right? It sounds like when you move the object, the gradient stays put, but I'm not completely sure that's what's happening. When you have the Selection tool, look on it's control bar. On the left side are 4 similar icon/buttons. One of them is for moving gradients with the object. So make sure it's clicked.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then I'm not sure. But let us know if this helps :D
