Hi all.

I have a question about the math ops in Inkscape.
When I build a black circle on a new document and make it's blend mode 'screen' it remains black. Over another object (say a red circle on a layer beneath) the screen works fine: the black circle is transparent. This appears to be a non standard behavior. Does anyone have any idea wether this is a bug or as designed?

Check your Document Properties and you'll probably find your background is transparent not white, that's why the object remains black.
