Hi Gang!
So I created an unfilled path with the Bezier Tool (Shift+F6), and I want the stroke width and color to be copied from another path I already have (also unfilled). Looks like the Pick Colors From Image (F7) tool only picks the fill color properties, and not the stroke which I need.
Am I trying to use the wrong tool?
thanks,
Gabster
Pick Color for a path?
Re: Pick Color for a path?
Not at all, Inkscape is a proper choice.
Re: Pick Color for a path?
Hold Shift when using the colour picker tool.

Re: Pick Color for a path?
Thanks for the reply Lazur.
Trouble is that only the color is copied but not the thickness of the stroke. Any clue how to do that?
thanks

Re: Pick Color for a path?
If you want all the fill styles to be copied, select the object with the style, press Ctrl+C, then select the object you want to add that style, and press Shift+Ctrl+V.

Aaa - nice! - Thanks Lazur!
Quick question. Is there a setting for the Free Hand tool (F6) or Bezier Curves Tool (Shift-F6) to remember my last color and stroke thickness used? it looks like it's always defaulting to black and 1px for each new line I draw.
thanks!

By double clicking on the tool's icon, you can set the default style from any path selected.
