Inkscape to cutter

Postby RockGarb » Wed Apr 12, 2017 12:07 am

Looking for some help here. I created some artwork in Inkscape and when I bring it over to my cutter program it's there but when I click wire frame it doesn't show the wire frame to cut on the cutter. I did try convert to vector and a few other things but I just can't get it to show the lines so the cutter can read it. In Inkscape I tried saving as the pdf png and svg. To be honest I'm totally lost on how to get this artwork to the print on the cutter. Apparently I'm missing a step here but can\t figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi RockGarb! First of all you should find out what kind of files your cutter can read (.plt, .hpgl, .svg directly, ...?). Then it would be helpful to see the actual file. Maybe you can read up on your cutter's documentation a little and tell us what you found out?
