Help with a little problem...
I have two characters (letters) on the screen and when I position one over the other the color of the top character changes where it intersects with the lower character... this is not the desired affect... How can I stop it.
thanks,
Wayne
Intersecting objects change colors at intesection
Re: Intersecting objects change colors at intesection
Hi Wayne,
There could be a few....maybe several explanations for that. One or both of the letters could be partially transparent. If they're on different layers, one or both of the layers might be partially transparent. Or one or both of the layers might be set to a non-Normal Blend Mode (open Layers dialog to check for this).
Or there could be much more complicated or complex situations which might cause this. If you've eliminated these simple explanations, but can't fix it, you could attach the SVG file to your next reply. Then we could download, and try to sort it out.
There may even be more simple explanations, that just aren't coming to mind at the moment. Anyone else?

Thanks Brynn... as soon as I read "tranparent" it was transparently clear to me... it as a transparency issue.
Thank you for taking the time to write... I love Inkscape because it's great software but the people are endearing to me as well
