Aligning two objects puts them in the cent of the page
Making transition from CD to Inkscape cause it's free!
. Is anybody else having this same problem? I Try to align two objects ("align on vertical axis") and it does so but also swishes them over to the center of the page. Tried to find someway online to get it to stop but no luck.

Maybe you have seen this:
http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... lign-Align
Particularly, the menu for "Relative to:_______"

Have a nice day.
I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/
