Hello, I'm new to the forum and vector graphics as well. I'm new to this program. I converted my drawings to vector using a command-line program called potrace. It worked great. However, I'm getting some problems in coloring it in Inkscape using "fill colour"
Here's the jpeg file from GIMP : http://db.tt/bRcNSpvK
Potrace Output : http://db.tt/xtjJfIbe
Inkscape coloring : http://db.tt/HdkBzCXI
There are some defects in coloring (white borders) can you help me?
Thanks again.

Welcome to InkscapeForum!
If you look at the control bar when that tool is engaged, there's a Grow/Shrink setting. For a 1 px stroke, I usually use 0.5. But you've got such a wide line there, that you could probably use 1.0. You can experiment and find what works best
