I have created a extension, and would like to add to the menu which appears on right click of an object.
Is this possible? If yes, please tell me how.

I'll say NO, it's not possible
However, you can add a keyboard shortcut to your specific extension.
In inkscape 0.91 you can do it using the Preferences dialog:
