I'm drawing some rectangles then using Extensions-->Modify Path-->Pixel Snap.
It adjusts the x-values of the rectangles so they are all whole numbers. But leaves the y-values as fractions.
Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong. Have go yourself.
Seems to only happen if you change the size of the document. If you leave it as the default size it snaps both x and y values.
I think this is a bug! (My guess is that it's using the default value of the document width instead of the current width).
I am using Inkscape 0.48.4
Is there a version of inkscape that doesn't have this bug or can I use the Pixel Snap plugin?
Pixel snap not working for y values.
Re: Pixel snap not working for y values.
Hi.
It does seem something is not right with it.
I tried it with a rotated rectanlgular path and only one note got snapped right.
In case you want to make more pixel-fitted images, you can set a grid in the document's preferences (Shift+Ctrl+D),
and snap nodes on it with the node tool.
Also you may use the pen tool in paraxial mode.
