How to unlocked a locked object?

Postby linebender » Wed Aug 31, 2011 6:06 am

I locked a shape and am ready to have it unlocked, but I can't seem to select or make it active.

It is on an un-locked layer, and I can see the object I want.

Any clues?

Thanks!

I think you'll have to select the object using the XML editor, then use the Object Properties dialogue to untick the Lock.

You can also use the find dialog and check the include locked checkbox....
Your mind is what you think it is.

If it's the only locked object (or you don't mind any others also becoming unlocked) then Object=>Unlock All is the simplest option.
