Inkscape and Corel Draw 3-5

I have had great results scanning in Corel Draw and then loading that file into Inkscape. Maybe some day Inkscape will have Twain or scanning capbility.

This is doable, but since TWAIN is not exactly crossplatform, one would have to implement at least both TWAIN and SANE support (don't know what scanning system is used on Mac, but it'd have to be supported as well). Could be a sweet little Google Summer of Code project.

Known feature request (and also repeatedly asked for in Inkscape's Answers section on Launchpad):
