A PDF file contains some rasterized images. I would like to export those images to PNG files at the same pixel count as they exist in Inkscape. I don't care what size they are in terms of inches because I can resize them in Powerpoint. The Export dialog tells me the size of an image in terms of px, pt, or pc. However, they are all non-integer values, so none of them correspond to the true pixel count. How can I export the image in its true pixel count? Or for that matter, how can I copy and paste it into Powerpoint as (say) PNG at its true pixel count?
If this is covered in the manual, thanks for referring me to the appropriate section.
Export selected rasterized image with native pixel count
Re: Export selected rasterized image with native pixel count
Try extensions>images>extract image.
Your mind is what you think it is.

Thanks, druban. It worked quite well.
There are a few I learned that I'd like to record here for those who web-search their way to this thread.
1. The extension doesn't tell the user what went wrong, and the image might not have been created at all. I didn't find it fruitful to search the entire hard drive. In future, I would just search the folder containing the PDF/SVG file, $HOME, $USERPROFILE, the start folder specified in the icon for Inkscape, and maybe the folder containing the Inkscape executable (though users don't have write access to there).
2. You must have one elemental bitmap image selected. If you have a grouped set of two or more, it fails.
3. The PDF does not need to be saved as SVG for it to work. Don't bother investigating that as a possible cause for failure.
4. If you selected more than 1 image, ungrouped, it only saves one. And sometimes, it will replace one or both with an giant error icon about not being able to link to image (even though it is an embedded file). For this reason, before I attempt to use the export extension, I would ensure that there is a copy I can Revert back to (File->Revert) without losing too much work.
