Miter Not Exporting in Bitmap/PNG

Postby Mikewerk » Fri Mar 26, 2010 2:45 am

I just encountered this issue and can't seem to figure out what is causing it.
When I export an image to Bitmap the miter setting of 10 isn't rendering.
Has anyone encountered this issue and know how to fix it?
I've supplied two images to illustrate this...

In Inkscape

After Export to Bitmap

I haven't seen this bug before, but maybe you could work around it by converting the stroke to a fill. (If the object already has a fill, this would mean having two copies of the object - one for the fill and one for the converted stroke.)

Yeah, weird, huh? I never encountered this before either. Have been using Inkscape for some time and this is the first time I've had this issue.
Thanks for the tip. I instead took the easy rout and just edited the PNG in photoshop to create the pointed miter.
