Filters Lost when *exporting* as png

Postby John12341234 » Mon Mar 17, 2014 9:55 am

I have a few shapes that have several filters applied to them. While they render incredibly slowly, they also are ignored when exporting as a png. (Exporting, not saving.) The shapes nor the filters show up in the png. I googled this and everyone had a problem when saving but it worked when exporting. I have a problem with both.

Hi.

Sadly there is not much option to do, your image may be too complex for the renderer.
You can try the current development version, where at least the on-screen rendering is improved, maybe the exporting too?
If on windows, the 64bit Partha build may have better results as well, at least with performance speed.

Also you could try to break down the image to sections -or even layers-, and put together the exported parts in a raster program, like gimp.

Good luck!

The 64-bit version does run a lot faster but the problem is still there. Can this issue be submitted to the bug list so a developer can look at it?

Probably a known issue, but maybe developers at launchpad can get you better support with it.
