Making Inkscape recognize the same fonts as The Gimp

I notice that when I view my fonts in the Gimp and then in Inkscape there is a difference in what is being shown to me. How can I make Inkscape see the same fonts as the Gimp?

you can download and use all fonts in gimp, these fonts can find in internet, you can download it and use it with your gimp, I use the win32 the gimp version, these fonts can work fine. After you download these fonts, you can make it for Inkscape.
Ok here it is:
Step 1-Go to dafont.com
Step 2-Pick your fonts there
Step 3-Dpwnload the fonts

What OS are you on? And are you running 0.46?
