Blurred lines unblur when uploaded

Blurred lines unblur when uploaded

When I upload an inkscape picture as a png to the etsy.com website the blurred lines I use for shading are 'unblurred' and become the original boxes and lines. Grr....anyone know what to do?

How did you convert to PNG? Did you use File menu > Export Bitmap?

In fact, the same thing happens when I open the file up in Paint.
