Our Miniature Dachshund Potchi.

This is our Miniature Dachshund, Potchi. I did most of the work in Inkscape, but used Gimp's smudge tool to break up the hard lines.

I have to admit, that most of the artwork I see here on Inkscapeforum.com is so good and the artists are so talented that its almost intimidating to post anything of my own. With that said, I humbly submit Potchi.

Who? What? Me!? No, that's crazy talk ... I just get lucky occasionally. There's a reason why I only have two things posted on this forum.

Sometimes I think that is what design is all about. I just keep working on something till I get "Lucky." I of course have designs that I wouldn't show anyone!

Aren't you having to complete a CAPTCHA when you're not logged in? I would have thought that would make it obvious you're not logged in, but perhaps it's not displaying?

The captcha was displaying. I was just overlooking the fact that it meant I wasn't logged in. I had assumed that my web browser had kept me logged in from the last time and thought this forum was just being a little zealous with security.

Thanks for clarifying, I thought things might not have been working as they should.

It is really a nice image of a miniature dachshund. It looks really cool and realistic. It seems like a real photo of a dog.
