Hi all,
I am new to inkscape. I use it when AI isn't available.
I am importing a dxf file for output to a laser cutter. The lines seem to be half connected and I was wondering if there was an easy way to close them or if they were alright the way they are. I am looking for a general approach because there are literally thousands of these connections and doing each segment by hand would be labor intensive. If there isn't a general solution, then a segment by segment solution would help, if not for this design then perhaps for the next one.
imported lines are only half connected. Fix or are they ok?

Hi.
Select all paths,
combine them together (Ctrl+K),
then with the node tool, select all nodes and click on the merge double nodes icon, third from the left:

Hi
For Lazur's method to work on open paths; after selecting all nodes deselect the two end-nodes
(keep SHIFT pressed while clicking Left Mouse Button (LMB) on the nodes) to avoid joining the ends.
