Black dots

Postby Thrilla » Fri Oct 14, 2011 3:47 pm

Been having some problems creating shapes. I'm using Inkscape .46 and can't seem to get rid of those little black dots around the image. I'm on a time crunch so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The more I study your screen capture, the more I'm puzzled by it.

If I were in your shoes... I would do the following:

Uninstall Inkscape 0.46 and select the option that offers to get rid of all personal settings.
Download Inkscape 0.48.2 and install.
Start Inkscape and see if those dots don't go away.

Is it possible to include the SVG of your simple example so I can see if the dots appear in my copy?

Mid-markers set to 'Dot(L|M|S)' instead of 'None'?

Hmm - not all OS/platform offer that option… usually, the preferences file is left in place.

Unlikely - AFAICT they are in the SVG file (markers). Though upgrading isn't a bad idea (if a newer version is available for the OS/platform) ;)
