Yes, this is really picky, but I do not like the highlight color that displays when I select text. Is there a way to change it?

What color is it for you? For me it's some kind of muddy light-green.

Yes, it's really annoying. Recently upgraded from.48. I am sure it was a different color there. And, again, I realize how picky I am being when I have the wonderful product to "play" with.

Seems it's the same over all OSs, and I know there's no setting for it - from which I conclude that it's hard-coded, and does not depend on your desktop theme. So, no. You cannot change it, unless you compile Inkscape yourself and know where to find that color (from the source code, I thought it must be light blue, but it seems I got the wrong place in the code).

OK. Thanks for the replies. Even if I knew where to find it "compile Inkscape yourself" is just not in my skill or comfort level. I will learn to adjust.
