Hi
I'm trying to convert an Inkscape-Project to an PDF but I always get "Internal Error" or that the inkscape could not allocate enough memory. This is always followed by Inkscape crashing.
The Project is about 3.5 MB big and it's a mix between embeded pictures and shapes designed in inkscape. My system has 4 GB RAM and normaly there is about 1 GB free memory to allocate.
I'm happy for any clue how to solve this problem. Because I don't know somebody who has an computer with more RAM.
Inkscape to PDF - Inscape crashes
Re: Inkscape to PDF - Inscape crashes

Welcome to InkscapeForum!
The only thing that I could suggest would be to open the image in Inkscape, and use File menu > Vacuum Defs. (if you haven't already) If there is a lot of unused data in the image, it could be bloating the file size, and that will remove the excess data. Chances are, it won't reduce the file size much, but it might be enough to allow the conversion. Also, if any of the embedded images are no longer needed, you could get rid of them.
Also, there are a lot of topics already posted and answered about file conversion, including SVG to PDF, as well as reducing file size. So you could do some searching, and probably find more tips
